I would run for a week and miss a couple days and stop all together.
Stopping isn't an option anymore.
I took 10 days off, people.
I ran again. This old lady is feeling it today.
I was always an eye roller when people (husband, friends of husband, wives of friends of husband) would say how empowering and addicting running can be.
I am not addicted yet.
I had trouble getting out of the car to run on the warmest day in weeks.
I had trouble getting out of the car to run on the warmest day in weeks.
But I am feeling pretty proud.
Someone said what a great example it was to Clara.
I thought, she doesn't really notice those things.
I'm always underestimating her.
And now she says, "Mommy, run?" When she sees my sneakers.
And when Dan is gone, she asks, "Running?"
If he's in the basement on the trainer, "bike? see?"
Raising a baby that loves activity is so fun.
I've gotta say with a lot of humility,
I'm pretty proud of myself for moving these legs around now and then.
